Here is another good review. Food was good, service was also good, nice room and decor. This has been one of the few restaurants in Amsterdam that gets all elements right. Many places have mediocre food and bad service - not so at Uyt.

After 8 months in Amsterdam, this is undoubtedly the best restaurant that I have been in. Excellent menu, ingredients, ambience, service and value for money. Where else can you save EUR1 by having three courses rather than two. Only negative is the difficulty in getting a table - book early!

All the food is excellent, which makes it hard to choose what to eat. Friendly and service minded personal. Really affordable too.
