Rebuilt only a few years ago, Bouley takes the place of Bouley’s Bakery which was damaged in the September 11th attacks and was then used to feed Ground Zero relief workers. Bouley continues the tradition of Chef David Bouley’s original award winning Bouley restaurant that he closed in 1996 to start Bouley’s Bakery. With a more eclectic menu then the original Zagat favourite, Bouley is now a much more modern place to eat French cuisine. Bouley also offers catering services as well as large private party rooms because he knows people usually want to share his food with friends.

I took a friend to lunch last week and after a fabulous meal interspersed with sorbets of all kinds to freshen the palate accompanied by excellent wines, I am now looking forward to my next visit. The staff made every effort to ensure we had everything that we needed and more! Highly recommend it, if you enjoy good quality food with manageble portions. Can also highly recommend the Danube and Thor.

I arrived in NY on 10th February to visit family and celebrate my 50th birthday. My brother Nigel and his wife Mabel chose Bouley's for my birthday treat (11th Feb) - and what a treat!
The service and food were second to none and the dining area had a wonderful ambience. We chose the tasting menu and the meal(plus the Long Island wine) was truly one of the best meals I have ever had.
Can't wait for my next trip!

My fiance and I had sunday lunch at Bouley in late November. On arrival, we were met by George the manager who happened to be a fellow countryman and treated us as old friends.
It was a very relaxed atmosphere and we were given a glass of champagne which set the tone for the delicious meal to follow. We chose the tasting menu which we both agreed was excellent and we felt we could have spent the entire day there to continue eating and drinking.
It was by far the best meal we had in New York and I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been. We will most certainly be going back again this year.
The selection of breads are amazing and you must try the cakes from the bakery too.
