Matsuhisa

World-renowned owner/chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa has restaurants around the world, including most recently Paris. Matsuhisa is a combination of Japanese and Peruvian food – so expect a bit more spice, for instance, the yellowtail sashimi with sliced jalapeños. Menu options include broiled sea bass with black truffles, miso-flavored black cod; sautéed squid with garlic and soy, tempura sea urchin in a shiso leaf, and Dungeness crab tossed with chillies and cream along with the usual Japanese fare. Celebrities have been known to frequent the restaurant so make sure you book in advance.
