One of the most exclusive restaurants in the world, El Bulli is not to be missed (unless, like many, you are not fortunate enough to get a table). North of Barcelona, this restaurant is under the helm of Ferran Adria, who some say is one of the most innovative chefs ever. A meal here consists of many courses, and many things you have probably never tried before. Those with conservative taste buds may want to stay away, but for a real culinary connoisseur, this is a place to go. El Bulli is ranked very highly in the world of restaurants and there is definitely a reason why.

This place is simply pathetic.
Food is boring, except the amouse-bouche.
They just cheat on you, only one menu, so there's not so much to do (and they way it's done means there's no real kitchen to speak of), and the sum of all ingredients should set you off 10 bucks or so. Then there's the staff, the surroundings and finaly the other customers (all dressed cheap-style, take pictures of everything and drink water). It looks cheap, but for what you finaly get, it's way overpriced.
Frankly, avoid.

Chef Adria Farran is the most creative culinarian of all times. The 6 month wait for a reservation is well worth it for the performance you will experience at El Bulli Restarant . A must see if visiting Spain or Europe for that matter. 27 Course pre-fixe Chef tasting menu, need I say more?
