A delicious Chinese restaurant with what is said to be some of the best Cantonese food you will ever try – down under. This Melbourne eatery was run by Gilbert Lau, a man who seemed to know what people want in a restaurant. There is a dedicated staff, many of who have worked there for many years and fresh ideas implemented in the menu keep the restaurant relevant. The restaurant has been structured to produce strong satisfaction among customers. More then a quarter century old, the Flower Drum is considered by many to be the premier dinning spot in Australia.

If you are a food critic and want to redefine the word 'service'! you should be there. Me and my friend at one point decided to find a minor fault, after 3 hours we failed. We were about 32 of us british exhibitors in an exhibition we attended. Most of are well travelled and been to many good restaurant around the world and we all said without fail that this is one of the very best restaurant in the world. I have been to 11 of the top30 restaurant you list and surprised that flower drum is not there.
