This architecturally rich restaurant in Virginia is a splendid choice for when you are feeling rich. The damage it does on your wallet will likely be ignored by the quality of food and service you receive in this rural resort. Inn at Little Washington is the winner of many awards, including the James Beard Foundation’s Best Restaurant in America in 1993. The regular menu is said to offer six courses while the tasting menu allows you to try more of what Chef and co-owner Patrick O’Connell have to offer. Cheaper during the week then on weekends, this restaurant remains a favourite and a must try for many.

I have eaten at 9 of your top 30 restaurants, including #'s 1 and 2. They may have candles in thier restaurants, but they can't hold them up to the Inn at Little Washington.
My wife and I have been there many times, and have brought many friends here, and have never, never had a better food and dinning experience! The best item on the menu is whatever you have in your mouth at the time.
The service is extraordinary. They cannot find a way to say, "No". Whatever can be done to enhance you experience, they will do.
The dacor and the attention to detail is mind blowing.
Chef Patrick O'connel has a warm beaming smile and a great laugh. Knowing what he has accomplished here, he has the last laugh.
