There aren’t many restaurants that can boast three generations of world-renown chefs. There also aren’t many restaurants that can boast three Michelin gold stars for over 35 consecutive years. However the tradition of excellence in French gastronomic started by Jean-Baptiste and Marie Troisgros is alive and well in the capable hands of Michel and Marie-Pierre Troisgros. The restaurant now is very modern looking, but still has that comfortable feeling of a family restaurant.

i ate here several times bteween 1977 & 1980 and it was then head and aand shoulders above ALL the restaurants in Lyons. I intend to visit again in 2006. Is it still as good-- and reasonably priced compares toiBritish restaurants???
