Anthony’s was named the best new restaurant of 2004 at the Restaurant Remy Awards. Head Chef Anthony Flinn was awarded with the Remy prize of excellence. Flinn has an unusual style of cooking that combines traditional cooking with scientific principles – molecular gastronomy. Basically, Flinn mixes ingredients that sound like they shouldn’t work but do. Examples include roast duck breast with olive oil and chocolate bonbons, roast suckling pig with chocolate pudding fondant and black sesame seed ice cream. Anthony’s is not a dining experience for the timid. Make sure you book in advance.
