Alain Passard is known throughout Paris, and when word broke out that he was tired of cooking with meat, people were shocked. There are not that many chefs in the world who can have that much of an effect on people, yet still bring them into a restaurant. Said to have trained with master chefs, Passard ventured out on his own with this Parisian treasure in 1986.
